Following up from my previous post about Adele’s new single, “Hello”, I present to you five covers of the song that will cause you all to have emotional breakdowns.

My only criteria for a cover to make it onto this list was it had to cause my mascara to run down my face within 30 seconds. Again, I don’t wear mascara it just shows up in the presence of an Adele song. Call if evolution if you will.

Also, can I take a moment to talk about cover song videos that literally only show the person singing into the mic. Screen Shot 2015-11-08 at 5.44.17 PM Screen Shot 2015-11-08 at 5.39.49 PM Screen Shot 2015-11-08 at 5.57.47 PMScreen Shot 2015-11-08 at 5.39.19 PM

It’s called showmanship, people. The only time this type of shot works is if you’re making the official music video for a popular Disney song.

Also, what’s with the black and white? I feel like I’m watching a commercial ad for White Diamond. If you didn’t get that joke you need to YouTube “White Diamond Perfume Commercial” right now because that joke was HILARIOUS.

Really, the only way this type of shot would be enjoyable for me is if it was Celine Dion.

There we go. You’re all welcome.

You guys didn’t come here for all my ramblings. No, you all came here for some well written and thought out content. Unfortunately I don’t have that for you today, but without further ado here are the top five covers of ‘Hello’ that made me have an emotional breakdown.

2. STUDENT FROM KOREA

FACT: No matter how good you think you are at something there is a high school student in Asia who is at least 100 times better than you. AT LEAST.

1. LIONEL RICHIE
